What Is Forging Process, Various Applications and Advantages ?

Metal forging is the basic process of forming and shaping metals by the use of repeated hammering, hard pressing and then rolling the metal.

The complete process begins with starting the stock, which is usually a cast ingot (Cogged Billet), which gets heated to plastic deformation temperature, which is finally “kneaded” between the dies to form a desired shape or size.
